We are currently seeking an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary client's team in Dublin. This is a permanent opportunity within a dynamic and collaborative consultancy offering excellent career progression, supported by structured mentoring and leadership development.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth and development of the engineering team. You will work across a diverse portfolio including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, and Data Centre projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of multiple projects from concept through to completion
• Oversee the design of mechanical building services, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and leadership
• Act as a key client interface, representing the company at meetings and project reviews
• Contribute to business development, including client engagement and project bidding
• Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and commercial awareness across all projects

Requirements:

• 10 years' post-graduate experience in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
• Level 8/9 degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving) is highly desirable
• Strong track record in delivering projects across multiple sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and design software such as IES or Hevacomp
• Strong understanding of energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
• Full driver's licence and access to own transport
