Financial Controller - 5 Star Resort | West Clare

A luxury 5-star resort on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead its finance function. This hands-on role supports the Director of Finance and oversees reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team (approx. 5 staff).
• Oversee income audit, AP, payroll, billing, and AR.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Manage cashflow, banking, and VAT compliance.
• Support year-end accounts and budget planning.
• Present financial updates to senior management.

Ideal Candidate

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3 years PQE in hospitality.
• Experience as Assistant FC or FC in a luxury hotel/resort.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and Excel skills.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
