Overview
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced production setting? A leading food and beverage manufacturer in North Dublin is seeking a permanent team member to help keep operations running efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
- Maintain site infrastructure including buildings and utility systems.
- Coordinate with external service providers and ensure all work meets GMP standards.
- Oversee spare parts stock and ensure accurate maintenance records are kept.
Criteria
- Hold a National Trade Certificate in a mechanical discipline.
- Previous experience in a food production environment is essential.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with PLC systems and pneumatic equipment.
- Hands-on experience with form, fill and seal machinery is required.
- Basic electrical skills are a plus.
Reward
- Competitive salary: €54,000 - €58,000 plus 15% shift allowance
- Total potential earnings of €66,700 before overtime
- Shift: Rotating early and late shifts, Monday to Friday - no night shifts!
