M&A Director / Manager - Deal Execution

Overview

An active investment group is seeking an experienced M&A professional to lead end‑to‑end deal execution and support a growing pipeline of acquisitions and internal investment projects.

This is a high-impact role suited to a 6-10 year experienced candidate looking to step into a broad, hands-on position with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and live deals.

The Role

You will take ownership of live transactions from initial terms through to completion, acting as the key point of contact across advisors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A transactions end-to-end
• Manage due diligence processes across financial, legal, tax and commercial streams
• Coordinate external advisors and drive timelines
• Build and review financial models (valuation, IRR, sensitivities, structuring)
• Prepare investment papers and board-level presentations
• Maintain deal pipeline and assess new opportunities
• Support strategic internal investment projects and financial planning analysis
• Assist with portfolio activity including bolt-ons and refinancings

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 6-10 years in M&A / Corporate Finance / Transaction Services / Investment Banking / Private Equity
• Proven track record of executing deals through to completion
• Experience across multiple sectors preferred
• Strong exposure to Irish / UK transactions

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent strongly preferred

Skills

• Advanced financial modelling and valuation
• Strong commercial judgement
• Experience working with legal documentation (SPAs, shareholder agreements)
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders and advisors
