Head of Human Resources Operations (Grade VIII)

Our client, a well-established large-scale healthcare organisation, is looking to recruit a Head of HR Operations - a high-impact role reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. This is a senior HR leadership role with responsibility for HR operations across business partnering, recruitment, and HR services.

This is a large public sector healthcare institution, operating on a significant scale with over 4,000 staff and multiple sites. It has a strong commitment to innovation, community impact, and continuous improvement.

Purpose of the role:

  • Support the HR Director in the development and implementation of best practice HR Strategies.
  • Lead on implementation of ER/IR strategies and change management programmes fostering positive staff engagement
  • Deliver change through partnership with the various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals in supporting the line managers and staff to achieve the delivery of the Hospital's business objectives and clinical strategy.
  • Lead on aspects of the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiencies throughout the hospital through greater use of Technology.
  • The HR Operations Lead will have overall responsibility for HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Services.
  • Attend corporate and other meetings on behalf of the Director of Human Resources.

What We're Looking For

  • BA Degree, a Masters in relevant field desirable
  • Minimum 8 years' HR experience at senior level within a large, complex organisation
  • Minimum 3 years' people management experience
  • Experience in the Health Sector environment desireable
  • Extensive knowledge or workforce planning, recruitment and retention issues
  • Proven ability to lead both strategic initiatives and daily HR operations
  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law and employee relations, including experience at WRC or Labour Court
  • A confident communicator who can work with multiple stakeholders

What's On Offer

  • Salary scale: €83,233-€103,533
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Holidays: 30 days annual leave
  • Location: South West Dublin
  • Hybrid: Majority onsite expected with possibility to work 1 day remotely after probation period
