Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems for building or infrastructure projects.

• Develop detailed electrical designs including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, and low-voltage systems.

• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.

• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure design integration.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and design staff.

• Conduct design reviews, site inspections, and technical evaluations during construction.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements.

• Support tendering, cost estimation, and value engineering processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

• Proven experience in electrical design within building, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of UK/IEC electrical standards, codes, and regulations.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
