Job Overview

• Role: Senior Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Team Leadership: Lead small project teams, mentor graduate engineers and technicians, and manage work schedules.
• Technical Design: Deliver civil infrastructure designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and perform hydraulic modelling (e.g., MicroDrainage/Windes).
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a main point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities.
• Site Operations: Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Sector Focus: Drive the delivery of civil works with a strong emphasis on the Irish residential and commercial development sectors.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: Level 8/9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience, ideally with a proven track record in the Irish residential sector.
• Software Skills: Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drainage/hydraulic modelling packages.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and present technical data clearly.
