Overview

We are seeking a Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a leading industrial operation in Co. Carlow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in pneumatics and hydraulics to play a key role in maintaining and improving production efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Criteria

• Qualified Maintenance Fitter with relevant certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to work on a two-shift rota basis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Fluent English required.
