This is a days-only position, operating across two rotating shift patterns, offering an excellent work-life balance within a dynamic production setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reactive and proactive maintenance support across a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
- Maintain and repair a range of production, packaging, and process equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant performance and reducing downtime.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and engineering improvements.
- Accurately record maintenance activities, repairs, and corrective actions.
- Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with site safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Work closely with production and operational teams to optimise machinery performance.
Criteria
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or production environment.
- Multi-skilled maintenance background with strong electrical and mechanical expertise.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostics experience, including exposure to PLC-controlled systems.
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship in an electrical, mechanical, or related discipline.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a team-focused approach.
- Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for engineering excellence.
- Good understanding of health & safety best practices within an industrial setting.
Reward
- €65,000 - €70,000 basic salary
- Performance-related bonus
- Days-only role with rotating shifts:
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- 8:30am - 5:00pm
