An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a thriving and continuously expanding manufacturing operation based in North Dublin. Joining a skilled and collaborative maintenance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency. The company is actively growing its engineering function, creating excellent prospects for career progression

This is a days-only position, operating across two rotating shift patterns, offering an excellent work-life balance within a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver reactive and proactive maintenance support across a high-volume manufacturing facility.
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain and repair a range of production, packaging, and process equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant performance and reducing downtime.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and engineering improvements.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities, repairs, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with site safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with production and operational teams to optimise machinery performance.

Criteria

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or production environment.
  • Multi-skilled maintenance background with strong electrical and mechanical expertise.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostics experience, including exposure to PLC-controlled systems.
  • Engineering qualification or apprenticeship in an electrical, mechanical, or related discipline.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-focused approach.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for engineering excellence.
  • Good understanding of health & safety best practices within an industrial setting.


Reward

  • €65,000 - €70,000 basic salary

    • 6:00am - 2:30pm
    • 8:30am - 5:00pm
