Job Specification: Civil/Structural Revit Technician (Intermediate to Senior)
A leading Irish multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 100 staff across 4 offices is seeking an intermediate Civil/Structural Revit Technician to join their growing team.
Role Overview
- Location: Cork, Dublin or Waterford
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time.
- Sectors: Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed civil and structural engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and extract 2D documentation for residential, commercial, and healthcare projects.
- Follow project BIM execution plans and maintain company modeling standards.
- Coordinate models with architectural and MEP layouts to identify and resolve clashes.
- Assist in the management of project data, family creation, and drawing sheets.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and senior technicians to deliver project milestones.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience as a structural or civil technician within an engineering consultancy.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
- Knowledge of standard Irish construction details, materials, and building regulations.
- Previous exposure to multi-storey buildings or large-scale developments.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt to new workflows, and actively participate in a multi-disciplinary environment.
