Post Acquisition Integration Manager
Permanent
Dublin
€115000 - €120000 per annum

Your Role
My Irish client is at an exciting turning point: as a large European PE's platform for growth in Ireland, it will serve as the base from which the business acquires and integrates further businesses across the market. As Integration Manager, you are the central person who takes ownership of the (administrative) integration of every newly acquired company and turns each acquisition into a well-run part of the group.
You work independently and in close alignment with the Post-Merger Integration (PMI) team of the parent to coordinate integration, corporate development and value-creation initiatives. Your task is to steer & track the integration process to make every future acquisition faster, cleaner and more valuable.
Your Responsibilities
Integration Management
- Taking end-to-end ownership of the (administrative) integration of newly acquired companies - from signing and closing through to a fully embedded part of the group
- Planning and organizing structured roadmaps by functional area (finance, HR, IT, operations, legal and administration) and tracking them through to completion
- Harmonising administrative processes, policies and systems (ERP, HR/payroll, IT, insurance, banking and contracts) with parent and Ireland company Ireland standards
- Acting as the single point of contact for acquired management teams and employees during the transition, ensuring clarity of roles, smooth onboarding and cultural alignment
- Identifying, escalating and resolving integration risks and dependencies early, before they affect the business
PMI Coordination & Reporting
- Reporting to and working in close, day-to-day alignment with the parent PMI team
- Supporting pre-close integration planning together with the deal and PMI teams so that Day 1 readiness is secured for each transaction
- Maintaining and continuously improving the group integration playbook, checklists and templates - capturing lessons learned from deal to deal
- Providing regular integration status reporting to Parent PMI team and local management, including milestones, KPIs and open items
Corporate Development & Value Creation
- Coordinating corporate development and value-creation initiatives in close collaboration with the parent PMI team
- Identifying and driving quick wins and synergies across the platform - procurement, shared services, cross-selling and best-practice sharing
- Supporting add-on target screening, commercial assessment and the preparation of management decisions together with the holding team
Processes, Systems & Automation
- Standardising and documenting a repeatable, scalable integration approach that can be applied to every future acquisition
- Optimising administrative workflows and building automation where it accelerates integration
- Safeguarding compliance and clean administration throughout the integration
Your Profile
Professional Qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration, finance, engineering or a comparable field
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in post-merger integration, corporate development, management consulting, transaction services or an operational project role - ideally in a buy-and-build or private-equity-backed environment
- Sound understanding of how a business runs administratively across finance, HR, IT and operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders to a deadline
- Experience with system implementations and process improvement; confident with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel); initial experience with automation platforms and AI tools is a plus
- Fluent business English
Personality & Working Style
- Hands-on mentality: you take action, solve problems yourself and don't wait for ready-made concepts
- Strong project-management skills and structured thinking, with a talent for documenting processes clearly and comprehensibly
- High degree of personal responsibility, reliability and ownership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, comfortable working with management teams and employees at every level
- Willingness to learn digital tools and automation (e.g., BI dashboards, Claude)
- Based in the Dublin region and willing to travel occasionally to acquired companies as required
What We Offer
- Direct entry into a growing company with a clear vision and international backing
- Close collaboration with experienced entrepreneurs and a professional PE group that actively supports your development
- Creative freedom: you help build structures - from the ground up, with immediate impact
- Building the group's integration playbook from the ground up - shaping how the PE group scales across Ireland
