As a Junior Architect you will be joining a design practice in Cork that due to an increase in project pipeline are now seeking to grow headcount. They have a great name in the Cork region, with projects including Residential, Commercial and Retail schemes.

Your New Role

As a Junior Architect our client is looking you to be able to display strong design and planning skills. The projects you will be working on will be mostly at planning and tender stages, however there would be a chance to see projects at construction stages giving your that rounded experience. Projects you will work on are mostly large scale residential and mixed-use developments, but you can expect to also work on their commercial projects also. You will have a great team behind you to collaborate with and an experienced team to hit the ground running.

The Requirements

You should have your Masters in Architecture (Part 2 Qualified) either by RIAI or RIBA. Experience on Irish projects is a requirement. You should have a working understanding on project methodology, the design process, through to construction phases. You should have a good understanding of planning process and building control legislation applicable to the project type. Your portfolio should display strong attention to detail, with excellent detailing throughout.
