About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager to join a leading contractor specializing in high-end fit-out and dry-lining solutions for mission-critical environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex data centre and commercial fit-out projects while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for design coordination across civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and specialist packages.
• Manage design deliverables, approvals, QA/QC, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee technical documentation, change control, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Report on design progress, RFIs, and technical KPIs to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years' experience managing technical design for fit-out or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of design coordination tools, QA/QC, and fast-track delivery.
• Familiarity with building services: composite wall systems, suspended ceilings, M&E interfaces, passive fireproofing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM tools preferred.
