Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with 2 to 5 years of post-graduate experience to join a premier multidisciplinary consultancy. Based in a modern city-centre office, you will work on large-scale infrastructure and building projects across Ireland. This role balances technical design excellence with practical site-based application, offering a clear trajectory toward professional autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design: Developing detailed engineering solutions, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, or Revit).
• Project Integration: Collaborating with in-house specialists in environmental, mechanical, and electrical engineering to deliver cohesive, multidisciplinary project designs.
• Site Engagement: Conducting site visits and inspections to verify design compliance, perform structural assessments, and resolve technical queries during the construction phase.
• Documentation: Preparing technical reports, planning submissions, and "As-Built" documentation in line with BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations).
• Client Liaison: Participating in design team meetings and acting as a technical point of contact for contractors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience within a consultancy environment, demonstrating a strong grasp of Eurocodes and Irish building standards.
• Skills: Proficiency in design software and a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
• Ambition: A strong desire to pursue professional registration and take on increasing project responsibility.
