Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

A leading food manufacturing organisation based in Naas, County Kildare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance operations within a busy production facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor maintenance technicians, ensuring all work is planned, assigned and completed effectively.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure production lines start up on time.
• Identify and resolve equipment performance issues promptly, driving improvements across assets and processes.
• Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system and support KPI achievement.
• Ensure strong communication with Production, Engineering, Quality and other key functions.

Criteria

• Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification or engineering background.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food or similar preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting ability and experience with preventive maintenance systems.
