About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious fundraising leader who is as energised by securing transformational income as they are by building and inspiring high-performing teams. In this hands-on leadership role, you will shape and deliver a bold, multi-year fundraising strategy, unlocking new and diverse income streams while leading a passionate team across individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

Working at the heart of the organisation alongside the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and trustees, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and amplifying our impact-leaving a lasting legacy through the relationships you build and the vision you deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Growth: Lead the development and execution of a multi-year fundraising strategy, driving income growth from €2.5m to €5m over 3-4 years.
• Senior Leadership: Contribute to strategic planning, organisational decision-making, and cross-functional leadership as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Donor Cultivation: Personally cultivate and secure transformational gifts and high-value corporate partnerships, acting as a credible and compelling ambassador at the highest level.
• Team Management: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing fundraising team-setting clear objectives, fostering accountability, and creating a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Income Diversification: Oversee and grow diversified income streams across major donors, individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and senior volunteers to maximise fundraising opportunities and strengthen governance.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, and regular reporting of KPIs and income performance to senior leadership.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Champion the mission and values externally, building profile, influence, and reputation among donors and the broader community.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Senior Expertise: Significant experience in a senior fundraising role within the NGO or charity sector.
• Financial Track Record: Proven success in managing and growing multi-million euro fundraising income across all aspects of fundraising.
• Stream Mastery: Demonstrated success across individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.
